WHAT IS SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY?
About Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy
How Does Spinal Decompression Therapy Work?
Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy is a non-surgical treatment that aims to relieve back and/or neck pain by gently stretching the spine, with the use of a specialized table.
The aim of Spinal Decompression Therapy is to relieve pressure on the spinal discs, which are small cushions located between the vertebrae that act as shock absorbers. Spinal Decompression Therapy works by creating negative pressure within the disc, which helps to retract herniated or bulging material, reduce inflammation, and increase the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the area. This can result in reduced pain, increased mobility, and improved overall function.

What Can I Expect During A Session Of Spinal Decompression Therapy?
During a typical session, the patient lies on a comfortable table, and a harness is attached to their hips or trunk. The table then gently pulls the patient's spine, creating a stretch that lasts for several minutes. The amount of pressure and duration of the treatment can be customized according to the patient's specific needs.
Why Should I Try Spinal Decompression Therapy Before Considering Back Or Neck Surgery?
Spinal Decompression is considered a safe and non-invasive alternative to surgery, which may be recommended for patients suffering from conditions such as herniated discs, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, or spinal stenosis. Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy has several benefits over traditional surgery, including a lower risk of complications, less downtime, and a lower cost.
In addition, the treatment is considered to be relatively painless and comfortable, with most patients reporting a mild stretching sensation during the procedure. The therapy is also suitable for patients of all ages and fitness levels, making it an accessible option for those who may not be suitable for surgical interventions. Overall, Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression is a safe and effective option for those suffering from spinal conditions, and can provide long-lasting relief from chronic pain and discomfort.

Dr. Ryan Roth, D.C. - Your Bryant AR Chiropractor
As I sit here and reflect on my journey to becoming a chiropractor, I can't help but feel grateful for every step along the way. My name is Dr. Ryan N. Roth, and I am a Doctor of Chiropractic.
My passion for healthcare began early on in my life after my 9th grade science teacher took us to visit an ophthalmology clinic. From that point, I was intrigued by the human body and how it functions. I knew that I would pursue a career in healthcare in the future.
During my time in chiropractic school, I was captivated by the philosophy and science behind chiropractic care. The more I learned, the more I knew that this was the perfect way for me to help people live healthier, happier lives.
Now, as a practicing chiropractor, I am dedicated to helping my patients achieve optimal health and wellness. I believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. I listen carefully to my patients, taking the time to understand their unique circumstances and concerns. And I'm always searching for new ways to help them, whether it's through the latest research or innovative techniques.
Whether it's through spinal adjustments, exercise and stretching recommendations, nutritional counseling, or advanced therapeutics, I am committed to providing my patients with the highest level of care possible. My passion for chiropractic care continues to grow each day, and I am honored to be able to share it with others.
